InsurWatch is operated by Effective AI, Inc. (“we”, “us”). This covers the insurwatch.app website and the InsurWatch waitlist, and we’ll update it before InsurWatch opens to more people.
What we collect
- When you join the waitlist: your email address and ZIP code, and the state your ZIP is in.
- When you visit: basic request logs (time, page and network details) so we can run and protect the site. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a real person is signing up; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Cookies: none for advertising or analytics. The site remembers your light or dark choice for the visit only.
How we use it
- To email you when it’s your turn, and once to confirm you joined.
- To see where interest comes from, by ZIP and state.
- To protect the site from abuse, and to meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
- Service providers who host the site and send our email, under contract.
- Legal requirements: when law, regulation or legal process requires it.
- Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, subject to applicable consent requirements.
- With your consent for anything else.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we don’t share it with insurers.
How long we keep it
Waitlist entries are deleted 12 months after you join, or sooner when you ask. Request logs are kept briefly.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, including California, you can ask to see, correct or delete your information, and opt out of our emails. Write to hello@insurwatch.app. We don’t sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising.
Where it’s processed
Your information may be processed outside your state or country, with appropriate safeguards.
Children
InsurWatch isn’t for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We’ll update this notice when our practices change, and tell you about material changes. The date above shows the latest version.
